Seniors- The application form for the Hilliard Area Chamber of Commerce Hollyfest scholarship is in the guidance office. Stop in and pick up a form. This scholarship is worth $8000 and the deadline to turn it in is March 19th.
Attention Sophomores & Juniors: If you would like something challenging and fun to do this summer, check out the list of Summer College Opportunities in the Registrar’s office room 177. Some of the programs include: The Ohio State University: Optometry and Linguistics & Pre College Engineering, College of Nursing: Diversity in Nursing, Waynesburg University: Sports Announcing Camp and may more offerings.
Key Club members- Please turn in Anthony Thomas candy money to Mrs. Moss ASAP. Our Monday meeting will be a service project at ARBORS Nursing Care facility on Scioto Darby Rd (across from memorial)…at 3pm. We will be working with the residents to make cards to send to people in armed services and enjoying St. Patrick’s day cupcakes. If you can, please bring a dozen decorated St. Patrick’s day cupcakes to share. Please arrange for pickup at 4:30
Calling all Filmmakers! Entries for the 9th Annual Hilliard Davidson Film Fest are now being accepted. Any student who has made a short, original movie for fun or for class is welcome to submit. Please give a .MOV file of your masterpiece to Mr. Aumiller or Mr. Gerdeman before March 17.
The March issue of The Wildcat is here. Subscriptions will be distributed this week, and issues will be on sale during lunch next week. Get yours for only $1.
Rotary International is sponsoring The Four-Way Test Speech Contest. Any Freshman, Sophomore, Junior or Senior is eligible. District Prizes: First Prize: $300; Second Prize: $200; Third Prize: $100. Contact Mr. Forte for information packet and questions.
Cultural Awareness Club will be sponsoring our yearly Culture Day on Friday March 19th during periods 1-3. If you would like to participate or are interested in getting more information please check in with Mrs. Jordan in room 51. We are especially interested in anyone who would like to share what they know about European countries and culture.
Attention all girls track members who drive to practice, you are to park in the senior lot after school. Boys Lax will be using our end for practice. To protect your vehicles please park in the senior lot.
Media Awareness, the new name of the Journalism class did not have enough requests in order to offer it next year. However, there is an on-line version of the class that will be available next fall and if you are interested in taking the class as an elective please stop into the guidance office.
