4th Graders Tour the State House

The 4th graders of Hilliard Crossing Elementary School traveled to the Ohio State House so that they could experience our government at work. They have been studying the state and federal governments and how citizens work together with the government to mold our future. The students learned about opportunities to act on and influence their state and national governments. In order for citizens to participate in our democratic society, the students have been learning about how to make informed decisions, the rights and responsibilities of citizens, and the roles of state and federal officials.
