Hello Families!
My name is Ashton Johnson and I teach 1st grade at Avery Elementary. I am a recent graduate from Bowling Green State University, graduating with my Bachelors in Inclusive Early Childhood Education. I loved my time at BG where I was the Vice President of the BGSU Club Swim Team, Treasurer of the Kappa Delta Pi Educational Fraternity, member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority, and a contestant on the 2020 Hatch Program. Although I loved my time at Bowling Green, I am even more excited to be following my dream and moving down to Columbus. I am from Marion, OH, so Columbus was always the end goal for me when visiting the area often. I have always known that Hilliard is one of the top schools in Ohio and has been a dream of mine to be a part of such an amazing and supportive community. I am excited to see what this year holds and have a great year of teaching! Go Gators!
