The Board of Education recently updated the Student Directory Information section of the district’s Student Records policy. The change now includes the following as student directory information:
- name;
- address;
- home phone number;
- date of birth;
- extracurricular participation;
- achievement awards or honors earned;
- weight and height, if a member of an athletic team;
- dates of attendance; and,
- date of graduation.
At Hilliard City Schools we care about our families and respect your wishes related to the release of your student’s directory information. If you would like to include your student in opportunities such as media interviews or photos, student directories or district publications then you do not need to take any action at this time. However if you DO NOT want your student’s directory information to be released to any third parties, simply send a notice with your student’s name, grade and school to:
