NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Bids shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the Board of Education of the Hilliard City School District, ATTN: Melissa Swearingen, Treasurer, 2140 Atlas Street, Columbus, Ohio 43228, and plainly marked on the outside “Hilliard CSD – Weight Room Facility Project Bid.” Bids will be received until 1:00 p.m., local time March 26, 2025, and immediately after the deadline the bids will be opened and publicly read aloud.
A pre-bid conference will be held on March 19, 2025, at 8:30 a.m. at Hilliard City School District, located at 2140 Atlas Street, Columbus, Ohio 43228.
Contract Documents may be examined without charge during business hours at Schorr Architects, Inc. 230 Bradenton Avenue, Dublin, Ohio 43017, online at www.dcplanroom.com, and online for members of Dodge Construction at www.construction.com.
Copies of said drawings and specifications may be obtained by Prime Bidders from DC Reprographics, 1254 Courtland Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43201; 614/297-1200, Fax: 614/297-1300, www.dcplanroom.com at a cost of $80.00.
All bids must include a Bid Guaranty, as described in the Instructions to Bidders. No bidder may withdraw its bid within 60 days after the opening; the Board reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject any or all bids, and conduct necessary investigations to determine bidder responsibility.
Sealed bids will be received by Hilliard City School District until 1:30 p.m., local time, on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at the Hilliard City School District, 2140 Atlas Street, Hilliard, Ohio 43228 and opened and read immediately thereafter for all labor, material, and services necessary for Playground Improvements 2025 project for Hilliard City School District as described in the Contract Documents prepared by Schorr Architects, Inc. A Pre-bid Meeting is scheduled for 09:00 a.m., local time, on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at Central Administration Building, 2140 Atlas Street, Hilliard, Ohio 43228. Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. All bids must be accompanied by a completed Bid Form and completed Bid Guaranty Contract Bond Form as described in the Instructions to Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw its bid within sixty (60) days after the bid opening. The Board of Education reserves the right to waive irregularities in bids, to reject any or all bids, and to conduct such investigation as necessary to determine the responsibility of a bidder.
