About Mrs. Bope
Mrs. Bope has been a part of the Hilliard Schools family since 2015, serving as a Special Education teacher at Ridgewood and most recently as the Intervention Teacher at JW Reason. Prior to that, she taught in the Pickerington Local School District. Her educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Ohio University, along with Intervention Specialist License and a Masters in Educational Leadership and Principal Licensure from Notre Dame College.
Mrs. Bope was born and raised in Hilliard, and she shares in the pride we all have for our schools. With three children of her own in our district and a husband who teaches in the district, she understands firsthand the importance of fostering a supportive and nurturing environment for our students, staff, and families.
Mrs. Bope is eager to embark on this new journey alongside the BNLC students, staff, and families.
About Mrs. Jeckavitch
Mrs. Jeckavitch (or Mrs J) is excited to serve the BNLC community. She has taught in Hilliard City Schools for 11 years. Whitney taught several primary grades at JW Reason and most recently served as the Intervention Teacher at Avery Elementary in Hilliard.
Mrs. J received her undergrad degree at Kent State University and her Masters Degree and Administrative license from The Ohio State University.
She resides in Hilliard with her husband and two children, and both attend Hilliard Schools. Mrs. Jeckavitch and her family are big Disney fans.
Mrs. Jeckavitch strives to build strong relationships in order to foster student and staff growth.
