Ady Armstrong has been a leader on the track starting out strong her senior year. Ady competed in the State meet and won the 400-meter state title. On top of that, she made All-State in the 60-meters and 200-meters, placing 6th and 4th respectively. She was the only athlete in the state to make all-state in all 3 sprinting events. We look forward to watching Ady compete this spring and continuing her track career at the next level. Congratulations on being named March Athlete of the Month!
Kingsley Ackah is one of the most dedicated athletes in our program. His positive attitude, charisma, and humor helps bond our team and provides an uplifting energy to our locker room and program. Aside from being a great teammate, Kings is a true competitor. As a returning starting middle blockers, he leads the team in hitting efficiency, hitting .373. One thing that makes Kingsley so successful during his time with Darby Volleyball is his coachability. He seeks feedback and tries to adapt his game outside of his comfort zone. Outside of athletics, Kingsley is a well-respected friend and student, earning high achieving grades and thriving in Darby’s Orchestra. Well-deserved, Kingsley!
