Mya Duncan was a senior leader on the girls lacrosse team this year. She blew out her knee against Dublin Jerome and still was at every practice and game cheering on our team. Her work ethic is evident off the field as well. She currently has a 4.038 GPA. We wish her the best as she will be continuing her lacrosse career at Muskingum University. Congratulations on being named Darby’s May Athlete of the Month.
Congratulations to Zion Smith, Darby Boys Track, on being named May’s Athlete of the Month. He worked hard to combat a season ending injury at the beginning of his junior year to qualify for The OHSAA State Championship Finals in the Long Jump. He was also a member of the District Champion 4x200m relay team. Zion is a leader and a senior that will be missed next year. We wish him all the best!
