Hilliard Darby Theatre Troupe is dedicated to producing high-quality, thought-provoking, and entertaining theatrical productions for both our school and the greater Hilliard community. As an extracurricular program based at Hilliard Darby High School, our troupe offers students the opportunity to explore all aspects of theatre—performance, direction, design, technical production, and stage management.

While our directors provide mentorship and guidance, the work of the Darby Theatre Troupe is proudly student-driven. Students take ownership of nearly every element of the production process—from auditioning and acting, to designing sets and lights, building props, managing the stage, and leading crews. This hands-on approach empowers students to develop artistic skills while also building confidence, leadership, and a strong sense of collaboration.

We strive to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment where students are encouraged to take creative risks, support one another, and grow both personally and artistically. Through our work, we aim to inspire audiences and create meaningful connections through the power of live performance.

Hilliard Darby Theatre is honored to be recognized as International Thespian Troupe #5658, a charter of the Educational Theatre Association, which celebrates excellence in high school theatre across the globe.
