IN THE NEWS

Parents / Students:  If a student has a zoom/in-building appointment with an outside source, and they will be staying in the building for this, they still need a parent permission note for missing class(es).  This is the same procedure as though they are leaving the building.  They will need to sign out and back in at the Attendance office to make sure they get excused.  It can be reported in School Messenger, or an email, hbrattendance@hboe.org, or give your student a note to give the attendance office.

If we don’t receive notification from parents, the student will be unexcused.

Attention Students!

Students grades 9-12 interested in information on West Point – United States Military Academy, please see Mrs. Wintrich in the guidance office (student services) to sign up to attend a visit from them on Tuesday, November 23rd, 10:30-11:30am.

Students/Parents:  When a parent is dropping off something for their student, we will let the parent in to the vestibule to drop the item off on the table.  Please make sure there is a name on it (pen and sticky notes are provided), and that the student is aware it has been dropped off.

Parking tags for this year:  If you have registered your vehicle, please come to the Main Office to pick up your parking tag.

Bus notes:  At this time, transportation is not allowing students to ride home with a friend.  We will let you know if this changes.

NO Change or vending machine refunds:  The office does not have change or refunds.  For refunds, you will need to call the number on the machine.

NO Food deliveries:  Remember that no food deliveries are allowed during the school day.

Attention seniors!

Local Scholarship Opportunity

THE “JOHN KUDART – SKILLED TRADES” SCHOLARSHIP

INSPIRATION: Mr. John Kudart served as the District’s HVAC Coordinator for over a decade prior to his premature passing due to cancer. He was an upstanding professional that operated an energy management program of the highest level in the state of Ohio, helping save the District millions of dollars over that time. He was an outdoorsman & family man. John’s wish was to help others interested in the skilled trades to pursue their dreams and realize the satisfaction and blessings that can be found in such work.

If you are planning to attend a trade school or college for a trades skill, please go to Naviance or see Mrs. Wintrich in guidance for an application.
