We are excited to announce that one of our own Darby Panthers students participated in the Ohio Civil Rights Commission’s 2025 MLK Art, Essay, and Multimedia contest and won! Biggest of congratulation to Noelle Hampton for her piece, Hush Hush. Noelle’s artwork and accompanying essay won out all the 12 grade entries! She will be read her essay and displayed her work at the OCRC’s MLK Jr. ceremony. Her exceptional work portrays the importance of diversity in the context of today’s social injustices. It explores the topics of having open conversations in today’s confusing world and encourages curiosity over ignorance. Congratulations Noelle on your hard work and achievement!
