MSA is hosting a bake sale during lunches on Friday the 14th! Bring cash and come support!

If you are interested in joining the boys or girls wrestling team, the first practice is this Friday from 3:15pm-5:15pm. Make sure to have Final Forms completed and a physical. If you have questions, see Coach Forgy in room 126 .

Congratulations to our American Legion Test Winners! We’re proud to recognize the following students for their outstanding performance on the American Legion test: Our 9th Grade Winners were Johnny Studer and Celia Corey. Our 10th Grade Winners were Jackson Masteller and Kylie Cuevas. Our 11th Grade Winners were Mohamed Katabay and Luciana Kieser. And our 12th Grade Winner was the outstanding Dayne Schmitt who brought it home uncontested! Congratulations to all our winners for representing our school with excellence!

Attention Juniors and Seniors –  Darby High School will be administering the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) Career Exploration Tool on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 @ 7:40 a.m. This optional opportunity is open to juniors and seniors, and is completely free. This is a career assessment tool and is used by the military if you plan to join. This test will be administered on desktop computers at Darby High School. Please take advantage of this opportunity by signing up using the link that is on your CANVAS page for the classes of 2026 and 2027. This form must be completed no later than Friday, November 21, 2025. You will be responsible for your own transportation to and from the test administration. Please see Ms. Mongolier in Guidance with any questions.

Students interested in a career as an electrician, construction project manager, or foreman- there is a realistic job preview and open house scheduled with the Independent Electrical Contractors. They have connections with employers, and also help to start training as early as your senior year. The open house will be during the school day on November 19th. If you’re interested in attending, send Mr. Hunt a message in Canvas today! Mr. Hunt has a variety of field trips and career exploration experiences every month, but you have to read through your Canvas messages from him in order to participate. Most field trips require permission slips and other specific details that are needed before the morning of the event. If you’re curious about the latest opportunities that are available, check your Canvas messages, watch the TVs around school, and listen to these announcements!!
