Ruby Bridges (born September 8, 1954) is an American civil rights activist. At only 6 years old, she was the first African-American child to desegregate an all-white elementary school, William Frantz Elementary, in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1960.
Come audition for the spring musical The Addams Family on February 11th at 4:15 pm in the PAC. In this musical Wednesday Addams has fallen in love with a normal boy and the whole family does not know how to deal with it. Audition packets and information are in the Choir room. Hilliard Davidson Theater freshman and sophomores will be performing their production of “Fools” by Neil Simon this weekend. The play is a comic tale of a young, enthusiastic school teacher who seeks to cure a small village from the curse of chronic stupidity. Performances are Friday and Saturday at 7pm and Sunday at 2pm. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door, $7 for students $10 for adults.
