The Civil Rights Act of 1964 was passed by the United States House of Representatives on February 10th, 1964. It made it illegal for state or local governments or public facilities to deny access to anyone because of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. It also made any acts of discrimination subject to lawsuits.
Come audition for the spring musical The Addams Family on February 11th at 4:15 pm in the PAC. In this musical Wednesday Addams has fallen in love with a normal boy and the whole family does not know how to deal with it. Audition packets and information are in the Choir room. Art Club will be selling Paper Flowers during lunches Monday- Wednesday. Handmade flowers are $1 each and for an extra dollar, they can be delivered to someone special during 3rd period on Thursday.
