HMS Veterans Day Celebration: Do you have any veterans in your family who have served or are currently serving our country? They are invited to attend our Veterans Day celebration!

On November 10th from 8am-9:30am in the media center, the Heritage Middle School Panther Ambassadors will be sponsoring a breakfast and ceremony for any veteran. You are invited to share this information with any veterans in your life to attend this celebration and have breakfast with you (the student). We are excited for this opportunity to welcome, meet and honor our students’ veterans!

SKI and Board Club: Many have asked about this year’s Ski and Board Club. At this time, we are still waiting on Mad River to finalize details about their student pricing and packages. When that information is released, we will schedule our annual meeting and provide a packet of information. In the meantime, students can pay their bus fees now via “My Payments Plus”. The Bus Fee is $100 for 5 trips, as we will travel by coach with Cardinal Transportation. Please pay that as soon as possible. Seating is limited and spots are given by a “first come – first serve” basis. Email Mr. Bower (brent_bower@hboe.org) for details.

Heritage Art Club will be meeting on scheduled Wednesdays from 3:00-4:30 for the rest of the school year. This is a change from the original Thursday meeting plan. There are posters around the building, including in the Student Services office and by room 144 with meetings for the rest of the year posted, and the dates are as follows :November 9, 2022

Scholastic Book Fair Continues Online: Even though the Book Fair is not in person any more in the Media Center, you can still order books online. One of the options on the homepage for Heritage Middle School’s fair is a button for Online Shopping. Scholastic has thousands of books to choose from for all ages. You can shop for your family and friends for the holidays, and those purchases will count towards our Book Fair profit. You can shop online through November 13 using the Heritage Book Fair Homepage. Thank you to all of the students, staff, and parent volunteers who participated last week with the Book Fair. Happy reading!

Panther Ambassadors Upcoming Meeting & Update: The next meeting will be today, Wednesday, November 9 from 2:45-4pm in the media center. We will be setting up and preparing for our Veterans Day Celebration. Hoping to see everyone there!

Shrek Jr. Performances: Heritage, Memorial, and Weaver Middle School students are thrilled to come together for their upcoming performances of Shrek Jr. The Musical. Please come support classmates and friends as they showcase their hard work and passion for performing.

When: Friday, November 11 and Saturday, November 12. Both performances will be at 7:00 P.M.
Where: Hilliard Station PAC
Cost: $7
