Statehouse Field Trip: On Wednesday, March 29th our 8th grade students will have the opportunity to visit and tour the Ohio Statehouse during the school day. Students will need a permission slip signed by their parents/guardians in order to attend. Please have permission slips returned to the main office by Thursday, March 23rd.
Women’s History Month: Many women have been impactful leaders in the government of the United States. Read about the lives of women such as Sandra Day O’ Connor, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Kamala Harris, Elena Kagan, Sonia Sotomayor, Michelle Obama, Hilary Clinton and others. Check out the collection titled Women’s History Month in Destiny Discover or visit the Media Center and see the featured displays.

Heritage Boys Volleyball opened up the spring sports season with wins vs Worthington Perry.
Blue team won 2-1 17-25, 25-17, 25-17. Big service runs from Sean Herson (7th) pushed the panthers over the top.
Black won 2-0 25-7, 25-17. Consistent play from returners Owen Friend, Alex Plummer, Oliver Hutchinson lead the team to the W. First Kill/ Assist/ Ace were had from 7th graders Quintin Bomer, Ian Moore, Jacob Limbird respectively.
Panthers are back in action at home vs Orange Middle on Tuesday
KONA ICE will be here Friday, March 17th. Students will have the opportunity to purchase treats from Kona Ice during lunch times. Items range from $4 to $7. Payment by cash or card. Proceeds support Heritage PTO.
ARCHIE GRIFFIN AWARD : 8th-grade teachers/coaches, please be sure to remind our student-athletes about the opportunity to apply for this year’s Archie. Applications are due Thursday, April 13th by 3PM.
