For the Love of Reading: Read-a-Thon from February 13-21, 2025

📚✨ It’s Time for Our Annual Read-a-Thon! ✨📚
Get ready to read, learn, and have fun while supporting Horizon Elementary! Our Read-a-Thon is a PTO sponsored event all about encouraging a love of reading while raising funds that go directly back into our school. Every dollar raised helps fund family events, student and teacher appreciation, field trips, teacher grants, school improvements, and so much more!

📖 Track Your Reading & Fundraising on Fundhub! 💻
Students will log their minutes read and money raised on the Fundhub website throughout the event! Reading minutes can be earned both at school and at home, so keep turning those pages and watch your minutes add up!
In order to track their minutes and money raised, students will need to be registered. Click the link below to register (or log in) to your personal account.

⭐️Read-a-Thon SPIRIT WEEK themes⭐️

-February 13: 🩷Kick-off! Wear your Blaze “for the LOVE of Reading” shirt or wear hearts/Valentine theme!

-February 18: ✈️Travel Through Books: Dress like a tourist or wear a shirt from a place you’ve been! (including Horizon or Ohio/OSU)

-February 19: 🤪Wacky Words/Silly Stories: Wacky Wednesday! Wear mismatch or inside-out clothes!

-February 20: 🦸‍♂️Reading is My Superpower! Wear a Superhero shirt or a “Word Shirt” (shirt with words on it).

-February 21: 🧦Cozy up with a good book: Wear your coziest Pajamas to school! Please wear regular shoes to school! Kids may bring slippers to change into, if desired.
