The Hilliard City School Cyber Cats debut on the eSports Scene began Spring of 2019. The team continues to grow each season and is comprised of High School and Middle School students competing together. This ever growing sport is breaking records and connecting youth from all-around Central Ohio.

Team Play

Players of all abilities may join any of the esports teams, and multiple teams may be formed for any game if there are enough players. Currently, the esports program has official teams for Super Smash Bros., Fortnite, League of Legends, Overwatch, Rocket League, and Valorant.

Rocket League is a vehicular soccer video game developed and published by Psyonix. The game was first released for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4 in July 2015, with ports for Xbox One and Nintendo Switch being released later on.

League of Legends

League of Legends is a 2009 multiplayer online battle arena video game developed and published by Riot Games for Microsoft Windows and macOS. Originally inspired by Defense of the Ancients, the game has followed a freemium model since its release on October 27, 2009.

Super Smash Bros.

Super Smash Bros. is a series of crossover fighting video games published by Nintendo, and primarily features characters from various Nintendo franchises.

Fortnite

Fortnite is an online video game developed by Epic Games and released in 2017. It is available in three distinct game mode versions that otherwise share the same general gameplay and game engine.

Overwatch

Overwatch is a team-based multiplayer first-person shooter developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment.

Valorant

Valorant is a free-to-play multiplayer tactical first-person shooter developed and published by Riot Games, for Microsoft Windows. First teased under the codename Project A in October 2019, the game began a closed beta period with limited access on April 7, 2020, followed by official release on June 2, 2020.
