Dr. David Hedgecoth from The Ohio State University School of Music brought three musician guests from Brazil to meet with and perform for some of Weaver’s music classes. The Brazilian musicians were:
- Pianist- Fabio Curry – Professor of Music at The University of São Paulo
- Bassoonist- Guilherme Pozzi – Professor of Music at The University of São Paulo
- Percussionist Giba Conceiçao – Freelance Percussionist from Salvador, Brazil
The guest musicians performed for several music groups. They also had the Weaver students participate in some of the music the Brazilian musicians play. At the end of the day, some of the Weaver students had the guests from Brazil join them in performing.
